The service

CVPositive rewrites CVs and LinkedIn profiles for engineering and technical professionals. Work is quoted individually once the current CV has been seen, because the effort involved varies enormously. Nothing is charged until the scope and the price have been agreed with you in writing.

What you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you supply. Qualifications, dates, job titles and achievements are taken at face value and presented as given. Nothing will be invented or embellished on your behalf, and you should not ask for it to be.

Revisions

One round of revisions is included as standard, so that wording, emphasis and formatting can be corrected. Substantial changes of direction after delivery — a different target role, a rewritten career history — are new work and will be quoted separately.

Ownership

Once paid for, the finished CV and profile text are yours to use however you wish. The underlying templates, formatting systems and this Website remain the property of Tempest Media.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any point before work begins for a full refund. Once writing has started, any refund reflects the work already done. If you are unhappy with the result, say so — it will be put right.

Limits

No outcome is guaranteed. See the Disclaimer. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
